Today is no exception, but unfortunately I am writing about a topic that is not a happy one.
I attended 2 different funerals in as many days; one was for my aunt and the other for the sister of my 2 good friends.
To be sure, both were sad occasions and both lives were taken too young; my aunt was 61 and the young lady was just 21.
I knew my aunt well and have fond memories of skiing and camping with her. I had a part-time job for her cleaning shop when I was a high school student.
She was always kind to me. I appreciate that she taught me to work hard and do so enthusiastically.
I attended a concert with 21-year-old lady in which her sisters performed.
They created a new style of classical music.
Even though 40 years separated the ages of these ladies, it should be a lesson to the rest of us, young or old, to live life with enthusiasm and don’t take a single day for granted.
The purpose of this blog was to give recognition to 2 important people and let them know that they will live on my memory forever that is why I entitled it,
“Never say goodbye”.
